Place: Sydney Port, Manley Beech, Lane Cove National Park, and Chinese Restaurant “New Shanghai”
Partners: My son’s family (5), John and Mary (Louise’s father) and Kikko and I and 3 Japanese friends at the restaurant
This day again, I stayed at Chatswood and visited Lane Cove National Park, while my wife and her 3 friends went to Sydney sightseeing with John, Louise’s father.

As for me, it was my 3rd and 4th visit on the national park, and I began to know about the park much better so that I can guide my wife’s friends next day (Sunday).

They visited Sydney Fish Market first, and enjoyed eating seafoods there.

Then John, father of my daughter-in-law, took them for cruise in Sydney Harbor.

They visited Manley Beech which I have never been there. It seems a beautiful beech with white sands and sea shells.

They enjoyed seeing sunset there and returned to Chatswood for dinner.
I also joined the dinner at a Chinese restaurant named “New Shanghai” in a shopping center in Chatswood.

Comparing with “Golden Times” on the previous night, it looked like a restaurant for “common people.” The price of foods were reasonable and delicious.
The pictures of the day were mostly taken by John. It was a good sample of hospitality for the guests.
This was our 6th day of the trip in Australia.

場所：シドニー港内クルーズ、マンレイ海岸、レイン・コーブ国立公園、及び新上海中華料理店 コース：シドニー魚市場(昼食)～シドニー湾周遊～マンレイ・ビーチ遊歩道～シドニー港～新上海(夕食)
一行：妻、妻の三人の友人、息子、息子の嫁、嫁の父
この日も私はチャッツウッドの息子の家で留守番。前日に引き続き、レインコーブ国立公園を朝と昼に散歩した。朝は、山コース、昼は川沿いコースでそれぞれ90分ほど。
それに対し、この日は、息子の嫁のルイースと息子の義父のジョンが妻やその三人の友人をシドニーのウォーターフロントへ案内してくれた。

妻たちはまずシドニー魚市場へ出かけ、新鮮な海産物で昼食をとった。魚市場の見学はちょっとした観光スポットであり、また、食べ物も観光客には人気だ。もちろん、日本の魚市場とはかなり雰囲気が違う。

その後、シドニー湾周遊の船に乗ってマンレイ海岸へでかけたようだ。このマンレイ海岸は私も訪れたことはなく、写真で見ると、一度、訪れてみたいと思う。

マンレイ海岸は白砂がきれいな砂浜で、Kさんが拾った貝殻の写真をみると、私のふるさとの鎌倉を思い出す。

その後、シドニー市内へもどり、チャッツウッドのショッピングセンター内にある「新上海」という中華レストランで嫁の父、ジョンに夕食をごちそうになった。

このディナーには私も誘われ、同席した。このレストランは前日の「ゴールデン・タイムズ」とは異なり、ずっと庶民的な雰囲気で、価格もリーズナブルでお味もたいへんよかった。
シドニー市内観光も夕食も、写真撮影まで、嫁の父、ジョンにお世話になった一日であり、今回のオーストラリア旅行の第6日目だった。
