100814 Mt. Chilbosan (778), Goesan-gun, 忠北、槐山、七宝山

August 14 (Sat) 2010, Occasional rain. My first hike after the summer vacation. It was a rainy day, yet, about 30 members attended this hike.

The destination was Mt. Chilbosan (778m) in Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. It took less than 2 hours from Daejeon.

When I saw AhToSan members, they all greeted me “Long time no see!” One of regular members, “Kaul-ilgi” which means “Fall Diary” prepared a nice gift for me. It’s a colorful scarf for my head. She told me that she had chosen it for me with her husband. How sweet of her!

We arrived at the entrance of the trail at 9 a.m. Our chairman, Alain Delon made us shout “Let’s go mountains on Saturday!” after him. Then we started hiking after taking a group picture.

When we started it was not raining, but while walking it rained from time to time. The water of the tream was more than usual, so we had to be careful when we crossed such streams.



My fellow mebers walked much faster than I did. So I was the last person until we came to the ridge. We arrived at the top of the mountain at 10:50 a.m.


It occasionally rained. So I wore my rain coat from time to time. It was muggy and hot when I wore my rain coat.

While we were walking, I was in the top group. The first group reached at “Kobuki Rock” or “Tertle Rock”after 10 minute-walk from the peak. We had a good view of lower mountains from the rock. So we decided to have lunch there.

It rained rather hard at that time, so had difficulty having lunch. When the main party arrived at the Turtle Rock, it stopped. So they could enjoy eating lunch. The temprature was rather low there. So people enjoyed hot noodle when some members cooked ramen.



After having lunch we began walking down from the mountain. We saw some nice waterfall. Alain Delon took a picture of me in front of the waterfall.

The final goal was SsangGok Service Area. We arrived there at around 3 p.m. So it was about 6 hour hike. We enjoyed “Tippuri” with pork and “Makgeolli.” They tasted good. While having Tippuri, it stopped rain, so we enjoyed the party very much.

2010年8月14日、土曜、雨時々曇り。夏休みを終え、韓国に戻って登山目的地は、忠北、槐山郡、七宝山(칠보산778m)だ。

朝食後、南門まではタクシーで行った。７時発のバスを待つ間に雨が激しくなり、バス停で雨宿り。バスは5分ほど遅れて到着。参加人数は約30人。

バスに乗るとすぐにニックネーム「秋の日記」が私にプレゼントだと言いご主人と選んだというすてきな虹色の「万能頭巾」をくれた。

彼女はいつも一人で登山する控えめな女性だが、こうしてプレゼントまでくれるのはありがたい。

途中、オチャンで20分休憩後、登山口には９時に到着。アランドロン会長の指導で準備体操後、「土曜日は山へ行こう！」の呼号の後、写真撮影をして出発。



登山口は渓谷への木製の階段を下ってから渓谷沿いに登る。前夜からの雨の水を集めた渓谷の水量が増しているなか、滑りやすい踏み石をジャンプして前に進む。



稜線に出るまでは私が最後尾だった。七宝山山頂(778m)には１０時５０分に到着した。

途中、雨が降ったりやんだり。登山中は雨具をつけると蒸して汗だくになる。濡れては困るものはすべてバスに残し、また着替えの服などはビニール袋に入れた。



頂上から１０分ほど進んだ見晴らしの良い「コブキ岩」の前の岩の上で昼食にした。私は先頭グループといっしょに先に食べたが、雨がかなり降って不自由だった。

先頭グループが食べ終わったころ到着したアランドロンたち本隊は雨が止んでちょうどよかった。このころは気温も下がり、むしろ寒いくらいだったのでラーメンが人気。また、私が持参したツナーフレークと岩のりのミックスも意外と好まれた。

昼食後はひたすら下山したが、渓流が増水して、川を渡るとき、ひざ上まで水に浸かった。

途中、サンゴク(쌍곡)瀑布という水量の豊かな滝の前でアランドロンに写真を撮ってもらった。

今回のゴールはサンゴク(쌍곡)休憩所で、3時には到着。林の中でトンソクとマッコリ(濁り酒)でティップリをした。このときは雨も止み、楽しく歓談した。
