141009 Stammtisch Meeting (Home Party at Hanpit Apart)

Date: Oct. 9 (Thu), 2014

Place: Hanpit Apartment in Daejeon

Participants: BJ & Marta, Their Ukraine Friends and their daughter, Amy (Korean lady) and her son and George

It was my 4th visit to Korea since I returned to Japan on April 1, 2014.

I made it rule to visit Korea once for every other month. Usually, I have 5 night-6-day trip. Marta and BJ always welcome me.

I stay firtst 3 days at their apartment, then I move to Toyoko-Inn hotel near Government Compartments.

BJ & Marta held a home party that day. They held “Samgyopsal”party as a Stammtsich meeting, and their Ukraine friends and their daughter, and a Stammtisch member, Amy and her son attended the meeting.

We enjoyed the party, having juicy pork with fresh vegitable, and some sips of “Makkori” wine.

I can never thank enough BJ and Marta for hosting me at their apartment. I hope I can return their goodwill to them and welcome them to Japan in the near future.

The party was over at around 9:30 pm. I stayed at their apartment on the 1st day of my stay in Korea.

今年4月1日に帰国してから4度目の訪韓。10月9日(木)-10月13日(火)の５泊6日の日程である。

初日の10月9日は成田→仁川→大田の日程で、大田の BJ＆マルタ夫妻のハンピアパートには夕方に着いた。

毎回、BJ＆マルタのアパートに3泊させてもらい、残り2泊は政府庁舎のそばの東横インに泊まるパターンだ。

今回はBJ&マルタがホームパーティで「サムギョプサル(삼겹살)」で歓待してくれた。いつも感謝である。

参加者はBJ＆マルタのほかに彼らのウクライナ人の友人であるオクサナ夫妻とその一人娘、それとスタムティッシュメンバーであるエイミーと彼女の次男と私の8人だった。

「サムギョプサル(삼겹살)」は豚のばら肉を焼いて野菜とともに食べるもので、韓国では人気の料理だ。

飲み物は韓国のどぶろくとも言うべき「マッコリ」でワインジュースのような味。食後のデザートもたのしんで9時半ごろ打ち上げた。
