140907 Guiding in Yokohama Part 2: Yamashita Park, Minatoga Mieruoka Park China Town [横浜案内パート2:山下公園、港が見える丘公園、中華街 요코하마 안내 2 부:야마시타 공원, 항구가 보이는 언덕 공원, 차이나 타운]

Sightseeing Place: Yamashita Park, Minatoga-Mieru-Oka Park, China Town

Sightseeing Course: Sankeien – Yokohama ST – Yamashita Park – Minatoga-Mieru-Oka Park – China Town – Ishikawacho ST – Ofuna

After leaving Sankeien, we took a bus to Yokohama Station.

I took them to the harbor of “Sea-Bus.” From Bay Quarter of Yokohama Station, we went to Yamashita Park by Sea-Bus.

The rain completely stopped by then and we could see beautiful sky from the ship.

When we got off at Yamashita Park, the entrance time of Hikawamaru Museum was passed already, so we just looked it from outside and and headed for Minanoga-Mieru-Oka Park.

When we got off from Sea-Bus and landed on Yamashita Park, my guests posed in front of Marin Tower nicely at the park. I took nice pictures of them.

My guests were all good hikers, so we walked fast and climbed up the stairs of French Park to Minatoga-Mieru-Oka Park, and up to the observatory deck there.

We took a glance of the Yokohama Harbor, then we walked down to the China Town.

It was almost time for dinner. So when we came to the China Town section, we dropped in a Chinese restaurant.

I usually do not have meal at the China Town, because it is usually expensive. But Mario treated us all, and we had a nice Chinese cuisine there.

After having the dinner, we went to Kantei byo Shrine. It was also after closing time. So we just saw this Chinese’s hero’s shrine from outside.

We walked pass through the China Town and went to JR station called Ishikawacho. From there we took JR Keihintohoku Line and went back to Ofuna.

It was a long day for me: sightseeing guide in Kamakura in the morning, attending the church service, then going to Yokohama and visiting Sankeien, Yokohama Port, Yamashita Park, Minatoga-Mieru-Oka Park and Chinatown.

We were to climb Mt. Fuji next day. So my guests went to their hotel and I went home soon after arriving at Ofuna.

三渓園前からバスに約30分乗って、横浜駅へ向かった。この路線は桜木町、高島町などを通り、20代にマンドリンをやっていたころの風景がみえて懐かしい。

横浜からはベイクォーターからシーバスで山下公園へむかったが、すっかり夕暮れとなった。

雨上がりの夕焼けの空は綺麗である。シーバスからは横浜未来21地区の建物がよく見える。なかでもヨットの形をしたコンチネンタルホテルが目を引く。また、海上保安庁の巡視船も目を引いた。

二人とも屈強なので、テンポよく案内ができる。氷川丸はすでに時間切れで内部には入れない。

すでに閉門された氷川丸への入り口を横目に、山下公園に上陸した。山下公園ではマリーンタワーをバックに認証写真を撮った。

山下公園の埠頭からは人形博物館の前を通り、フランス公園地区から階段を上り、港が見える丘公園の展望台へむかった。ここでは夕暮れの横浜港を見ることができた。

港が見える丘公園の展望台で写真を撮った後、他の博物館などは入館時刻が過ぎているので、迷いなく道路を下り、チャイナタウンへ向かった。

チャイナタウンで中華料理を食べることはほとんどないのだが、今回はチャイナタウンの入口近くの店に入った。

店員がいやにそっけない店だったが、味と値段はまあまあか。3人の食事代は6000円ほどだったが、マリオがカードで支払ってくれた。感謝。

その後、関帝廟に向かったがここもすでに閉門した後だったので、門の外から認証写真を撮った。

我々は足早に中華街を抜けて京浜東北線の石川町駅に出て、大船へ戻った。

この日は翌日の富士山登山に備えて、二次会は控えて彼らは大船のホテルへ帰り、私は家へ帰って休んだ。

早朝の鎌倉案内、10時からの教会の礼拝、そのあとのホテルのチェックイン、三渓園および横浜港や中華街と続いた大変長い長い一日であった。
