140717 Enoshima (江の島에노시마) with Haekyung from Korea

Date: July 17 (Thu), 2014 Cloudy

Itinerary: Yamaneko (Wildcat) Restaurant – Fresa Inn Ofuna – Enoshima Yacht Harbor – Enoshima Shrine – Sushiro Restaurant

At the end of my 2nd visit on Korea in July, I went back to Japan with one of my Korean friends, Haekyung.

She retired from her work in Korea, and wanted to learn ballroom dance.

I told her that my wife taught English and ballroom dance at several places near my house.

She decided to visit her in Ofuna, therefore I came back to Japan with her.

My wife and her circle held a big party inviting European Latin Dance Champions in Yokohama on the day we came to Japan.

So I took Haekyung to the party in Yokohama.

Haekyung was staying in Japan for 9 days. Mostly she spent her days with my wife for dance lessons. But when she did not have lessons, I took the role of sightseeing guide.

The first chance for her sightseeing was on July 17.

That day, I attended Day KEC meeting in the morning, while Haekyung was having dance lesson.

We had lunch together with some of Day KEC members at Yamaneko (Wildcat) Restaurant.

Then my wife drove Haekyung and me to Enoshima in the evening.

She let us off at Enoshima Yacht Harbor. It was an interesting place with a light-house and breakwater wall.

There was an interesting facilities such as “health road for reflexology.”

Haekyung liked this water-front area very much and we spent nearly 30 minutes.

Then I took her to the entrance of Enoshima Shrine.

There are many shops along the road to the shrine. She bought “octopus senbei” and baked corns.

After having brief sightseeing and shopping, we left Enoshima and went to a sushi shop called “Sushiro.”

It is a chain shop of sushi-go-around style. Every dish is quite reasonable price.

I like this kind of sushi shop very much because ingredients (mostly sea foods) are fresh and costs are reasonable.
