OCCED(NPO to support for orphans in Nepal) meeting was held at “Happy” an Indian and Nepalese Curry Restaurant in Hiratsuka.

We met at the North Exit of JR Hiratsuka Station and headed for “Happy” the Indian and Nepalese Curry Restaurant in Hiratsuka.

We all enjoyed eating the real curry with naan. The level of spiciness was shown by the number of red pepper. I ordered the 2nd spiciest curry and it tasted very good.

Ms. HY came later because she went the wrong direction, but she also enjoyed this fantastic cuisine.

There are photogenic pictures on the wall of the restaurant. I like the picture of the Himaraya.

After the meeting and the luncheon, we all headed for the graveyard of Seiunji Temple, about 20 minutes distance on foot.

Mr. Kino and Kevin, the friends of Mr. Uchida also came to the graveyard.

I reported my story about visiting The Waterpaint Exhibition by Three Country Painters in Seoul, because I saw the paint of Mr. Kino there.

After the visit on Mr. Uchida’s grave, Kevin offered his old books to the people who came to the graveyard.

It began to rain on the way back to the station. I saw nice cat-dolls at a shop near the station.

I bought three dolls for my friends in Seoul. I shall bring them to Seoul next time when I visit Korea.

0CCEDの集いが平塚であり、北口でTさん、Yさん、Mさんらと待ち合わせ、以前一度使ったことのあるネパール・インドカレーの「ハッピー」へ向かった。

ハッピーはネパール人が経営しているエスニック料理店で、コックさんやウェイトレスはネパール人だと聞いた。また、店の壁にはヒマラヤの写真やインドの神々の写真などが飾られている。私はヒマラヤの写真が好きだ。

この店のカレーは本格的で、辛さは唐辛子の数で表記されている。私は2番目に辛い唐辛子4個のカレーを食べた。また、焼き立てのナンも大きくておいしい。

遅れて参加したDay KECのHYさんも一人で駆け付けたが、道に迷ってしまい、遅くなった。しかし、彼女もこのカレーを大いに楽しんだ。

ハッピーでカレーを食べたあと、我々全員のメンターであった故内田さんの墓参りに行くことになっていて、Day KECのYHさんも一緒に晴雲寺の墓地に向かった。

内田さんは我々全員の友人であり、私の師友であったが、約10年の闘病生活の末、3年前の7月20日に他界された。

そこで友人たちが集まり、墓参ということになった。

内田さんの墓前では、キノさんとケビンが合流した。キノさんとはソウルで開催された「三カ国水彩画展」の話をした。

晴雲寺の駐車場に駐車したケビンの車には英語の古本が積んであり、友人たちによかったらもらってほしいと思いがけないプレゼント。

別れるころには小雨が降り出したが、喫茶店でも入ればよかったと今になって思う。

平塚の呉服屋の店頭でみた猫グッズがよかったので、ソウルの友人たち用に３個購入した。
