Place: Champs Elysees Wedding Hall, Dunsandong, Daejeon

Participants: About 60 AhToSan members including Bernardo (Mexico), Connie (Germany), Elena (Russia) and George (Japan)

After the hike and Jongsanje Cememony at Mt. Daejunsan, we went to Champs Elysees Wedding Hall in Daejeon.

We arrived at the wedding hall at 5:05 pm and the general meeting was to start at 6:00 pm.

While waiting for the party, we watched the slide-show of the hike in 2013 from January through December.

I attended most of the hike, but not those they had in January and July, during winter and summer vacation.

It was fun to see these hiking events by many pictures. The general meeting started at 6 pm.

Some of AhToSan members joined only this event, not hiking.

We sang the national anthem then silent prayer for those who lost their lives during hiking in the past.

As far as I know, there was no such accident at least in Korea, but there were many in Japan, though.

Then they announced the change of the staff members of AhToSan Hiking Club and awarding ceremony.

We had “cake-cut” ceremony. The 4 VIP were called to “cut” the cake.

These three were the former presidents of AhToSan, and I was the honored member of AhToSan.

Then they awarded me as the one who contributed to AhToSan activities; the most frequently participated (337 times in the past 9 years.)

We had “drinking and eating time” for about 30 minutes, then have a “karaoke” time and dancing.

When Jeongjeong, the new president of AhToSan sang “Brilliant Single Life”many of them came to the stage and danced, including Elena and Connie.

They requested “foreigners” to sing and they sang “Yesterday” all together.

Then Elena sang “Million Roses”or “Миллион роз” in Russian.

We had a wonderful time, and the party was over at 9 pm.

「終山祭」を大田近郊の大屯山で終え、大田広域市屯山洞シャンゼリゼ・ウェディングホールへは5時少し過ぎに着いた。

ここの5階で「アトサン設立９周年の記念パーティ」及び忘年会が行われた。

参加者は約60人ぐらいだろうか。会場はビュッフェスタイルでアトサンのイベント会場としては非常に適している。

6時からの式典は始まるまでは1年間の登山のすべての写真が時系列に編集されてスライドショーとして上映された。

6時から「総会」の式典開始で、司会は総務の「深いヨユウ」。

愛国歌の斉唱の他、登山事故の犠牲者に対する黙とうなどがあったのは今回が初めてのような気がする。しかし、韓国での登山事故はほとんど耳にしない。

そして早い段階でケーキの形にした韓国の餅菓子に大きなナイフを入れる儀式があった。

4人のアトサン重要会員「サンサラン、チョンダウン、アランドロン」の歴代会長に加え私も入って入刀のポーズ。

この後、功労賞の授与があり、私には昨年に続いて「感謝牌」が贈られた。

その後は1時間ほど会食の時間、そしてキップンヨユウの司会で「幸運の賞品」授与とカラオケ大会となった。
