CL3“My eyes are ever on the LORD”Psalm 25:15　(Confession of a　Japanese Christian)

When the Holy Spirit pours “Love for Jesus” into me, I can endure any agony or hardship which happened to me in this world.

Whatever the hardship or pain I experience, when I think of the cross of Jesus, it must be nothing at all. If I always look up Jesus, I can go forward despite of any circumstances, I can go forward from power to power.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

What does “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly (Colossians 3:16)” mean?

Which means you store the Word in yourself and apply the Word into your life. It is important to let the Word control your life and make it as the power in your life. I wish I become the one who has deep relationship with the Word (Bible) in everyday life.

It is important to recognize God’s presence always in your life as “Oh, our God is always with us” as it is written "Remember Jesus Christ," (2 Timothy 2:8) and "In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith." (1 John 5:3-4)

If you were always with God, you are given amazing peace of God. You are certain that God is protecting you from all harms, you do not get upset whatever happened to you. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to act in any circumstances.

In order to make this happen to us, we should follow the teaching of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives.

God will never ask us what we cannot do. So we should believe that “Even I, can walk the way just as indicated by His Word.”

We should always wrap ourselves with the praise and thanks to our Lord. Whatever the circumstances, we look up our Lord who is truth and love and we praise Him and thank Him by taking victory over the world in advance.

"As Scripture says, 'Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.'" (Romans 10:11) If you rely on our Lord, then you will never be disappointed. Believe in that and praise our Lord. “Praising Lord” gives you power. It is the actual evidence of your faith.

About the impregnable faith, it means that you commit every matter to the hand of Lord. This imperturbable faith confess to Jesus “I commit all these matters to your hand. Please make things done as your promise “God protect me by the power of the omnipotent.”

It is not our problem to overcome the difficulties we face now. What should we do is the problem.

Since we committed all of our agony, trial, etc., we committed that matters of our future. And Lord revealed the truth many times.

If we put our positions like this, then our problems are all clear. What we want to hear is clear. “What can I do in order to love our Lord more and serve Him more.” “What does serving to your neighbors as you love yourself, mean?”

The impregnable faith is, as Jesus said in Sermon on the Mount, we commit ourselves completely to God’s will.

In short, we should seek Lord and His will first. Then He will give us what we want.

Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The impregnable faith declare this way, “I desire not my wish, but Lord’s will be done.” “I will stop trying to solve the problems of mine or those of my friends by my efforts.” “So, please Lord, let my thoughts direct to You and lead me to wait your promise come true.”

If such faith can be given to us, we can prepare ourselves whatever happened to us.

In peace time, many people can think they can rely on God. But when the time of crisis comes, many of them may fall in the thoughts of the world. They may have tendency of going to the thoughts of fresh.

Romans 12:2 (NIV) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

In his letter, he says “if you renew your mind, then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is.

Now, let us test ourselves. “What have I thought?” Let us have time to check our own thoughts. Satan want us believe that our misfortune comes from circumstances.

But the true cause of hardship is “our thought.” The person being used by God should not be offended, or be grumble whatever the circumstances.

Even if you were mistaken, or your pride was unfairly hurt, you must determine yourself not become offended.

Thus if you are always being happy, God may use you for his purpose.

When you pray, start praising God from the bottom of your heart. When you praise Lord, He will reveal Himself or at His presence. Hosea 11:3 It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them.

This shows God’s will as a mother who wishes her baby to stand up and walk soon when she saw her baby start crawling.

He says “How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboyim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused. (Hosea 11:8)

There are reasons for all hardships and trials we have. They could be necessary for us. Series of disasters may have limitless meaning to those who believe in Lord.

Our Lord is always seeing our hearts. When we remember how Jesus suffered in order to give us salvation, love to Jesus naturally well up from our hears.

“Rejoice and celebrate” In order to “rejoice and celebrate” you must have hearts to rejoice. God ordered Islael to “rejoice” in many places ( Deuteronomy 14:26, 12:7, 12:12)

If you have plenty of food, clothing and housing, then it is difficult to thank God because you take them for granted.

If you grow habit like grumbling things, it is hard to get rid of it. If you make a habit of sulky face, then it is difficult to smile unless you train your face-muscle. Important things are not facial matters, rather the matter of minds, of course.

If you read Psalm, then you realize that even David not rejoice without any efforts. Psalm 4:7-8

“Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

Joy of the Lord, With praising hymns, joy of Lord. That is the privilege given to Christians. Let’s declare, “Oh, Lord, we rejoice You.”

Let’s praise our Lord from the bottom of our hearts. When you feel down, and not in the mood of rejoice, then it is a training of faith to rejoice our Lord, I think.

We tend to behave insolently and quick to forget love of Jesus, or His promise. David said,

“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—”(Psalm 103:2)

“I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.”(Psalm 9:2)

Paul repeatedly said in his letter from the prison to the Philippians,"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4)

Even though he was in one of the worst circumstances as in prison, he wrote, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)

For to him, there were reasons to rejoice in God. We, believers have the same reasons as Paul had.

Let’s follow the recommendation “Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name” (Psalm 97:12) and rejoice in the Lord, as alone, as the family, and as the congregation, let’s joyfully rejoice in our Lord, and praise Him!

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”(Romans 8:28)

If you walk with the firm belief that nothing can happen to me unless God allows it, then your life is positive and encouraging.

Whatever the circumstances are, they were given to you by God. If you believe this, then these circumstances will be blessing to you. Do not forget that you always rely on your Lord, Jesus Christ. You shall be blessed for sure if you continuously believe in God.

“22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:22-25)

We Christians, should always remember that we have Second Coming.

Remembering “Second Coming” is our preparations of our lives on the earth.

「私の目はいつも主に向かう」　　詩篇25:15　（ある日本のクリスチャンの信仰告白)

私の中に主イエスを愛する愛が聖霊によって注がれたとき、どんな苦しみの中をも耐え忍ぶことができるのです。

どんな苦しみに遭おうがイエス様の十字架を思うならば自分の苦しみは何でもありません。イエス様をいつも仰ぎみているならば一切の事情、境遇に超越して、力から力に前進することができます。

第二テモテ4:7,8A「私は勇敢にたたかい、走るべき道のりを走り終え、信仰を守りとおしました。今からは義の栄冠が私のために用意されているだけです。

コロサイ3:16「キリストの言葉をあなたがたのうちに豊かに住まわせ」とはどういう意味か。その御言葉を心に蓄え自分の生活にその教えを生かすことです。御言葉が私たちの生活を支配し、生活の力となることが大事です。日々生活の中で聖書と深くかかわって生きる者でありたい。

第二テモテ2:8B「イエス・キリストをいつも思っていなさい」第1ヨハネ5:3,4「ああ神さまが共にいて下さる」と神さまのご臨在を絶えず認め意識しつつ生活するこれが非常に大切です。

絶えず神と共にあるときに驚くべき神さまの平安が与えられる。そして神さまが守っていて下さると言う確信ができるので、どんなことが起きてもあわてません。どいいう処置をとるべきか御霊は教えて下さいます。

これらのことが私になされるためには私たちが毎日の生活で具体的に神さまが私たちに望まれておられることは、聖霊の教えを実行することです。神さまは私たちにできないことを要求なさいません。ですから「私のような者にもこういう御言葉通りの生涯ができるんだ」ということを先ず信じることです。

いつも主への賛美と感謝と喜びで私たちの人格を包んでおくこと。周りの環境がどのような状況であっても全能なる愛なる真実な主を見上げて賛美し、勝利を先取りし、感謝していきます。

「ローマ10:11」、主に信頼するなら失望がないことを信じ主を賛美する。賛美は力です。信仰の具体的な現れです。

「第二歴代誌16:7、9」このゆるぎない信仰という事柄について、これはすべての事柄を主の御手に委ねると言う事、ゆるぎない信仰は主イエスにこう告白します。「これらのすべての出来事を御手に委ねます。神さまの全知全能の力で私を守って下さるというお約束通りにして下さい」

私たちにとって目下の問題をどのように乗り越えるかではない。何が私のなすべきことか。苦しみ、試練も、私に関するすべてを主の御手に委ねたのだから将来の出来事も主に委ねたのだ。そして主はご真実を何度も表してくださいました。

この姿勢が私たちの心に建てられたなら私たちの問題は明白です。私たちの聞きたいことは明白です。「もっともっと主を愛し、仕えるということはどうしたらいいのだろうか。自分を愛するように周囲の人に仕えるとはどういうことだろう」

ゆるぎない信仰とは主イエスが山上の垂訓で語られたように私たち自身を完全に主の御心に沿わせるということです。

短く言えば、私たちは主と主の御心を先ず求めるべきです。そうすれば私たちは私たちの心が望むものを主が与えて下さるというのです。「マタイ6:33」

ゆるぎない信仰はこう宣言します。「私は自分の願いではなく、主の御心が行われるのを願います。自分や周囲の抱える問題を解決しようとするのは止めます。聖霊様、私の思いを主に向け主の御約束を待ち望むことができるように導いて下さい。」

このような信仰が伴えば私たちは今の時代に何がもたらされても備えができます。平時の時は「私は神さまに信頼する」と考えていた人が、危機の時には突然この世の考えに落ち込み、肉の思いに走りがちです。

成熟したクリスチャンになるための条件、それは神の御言葉をいかに日常生活に適用して実践していくかによります。(ローマ12:2)

この聖句でパウロはもし思考が刷新されたなら、神さまの完璧な意思が生活の中で実証されるのをみると言っています。

自分自身を点検し、「自分は何を考えて来た」と自問しましょう。思考を点検する時間をみましょう。サタンは不幸なのは周囲の出来事だと思わせたいのです。

しかし苦難の真の原因はその人の内面で起こっていること「思考」なのです。神に用いられる人の心構えは「決して感情を害さない、機嫌を損ねない」ということです。

誤解されてもプライドを傷つけられても理不尽な取り扱いをされても「気分を壊さない」と決心すること。

こうしていつも喜んで仕えるしもべになる人こそ主の御用のために主が用いられるのです。

祈る時はまず心から神を賛美しましょう。心の底から主を賛美しましょう。心の底から主を賛美するとき、賛美の中に主は臨在を現されるからです。

ホセア11:3「それでも私はエフライムに歩くことを教え彼らを胸に抱いた」

這えば立て、立てば歩めと願う母親のように民を育て導かれる天の父の御姿、そして背き去る民を忘恩の民に対して「どうしてあなたを見捨てることができようか。私は憐みで胸が熱くなっている」(8節)と心を注がれるのです。

私たちに降りかかる様々な苦難は必ず理由があってのことであり、私たちに必要だからなのです。たとえ連続する災難もいかなる苦難も主を信ずる者にとっては無限の意味を有するとわきまえるのです。

主はいつも私たちの心の中を見ておられる。私たちの救いのためにイエス様はどんなに苦しみを受けられたかを思いめぐらすとき、本当に主イエス様を愛する心が湧きあがってくる。

「喜び祝う」喜び祝うには喜ぶ心がなければ達成できません。神さまは各所でイスラエルに「喜ぶ」ように命じておられます。申命記14：26，１２：７，１２．

衣食住に満ち足りているとそれが当然であって感謝することができません。癖とはしつこいもので不平を言うことが癖になっているとついつい不平をこぼしていまします。仏頂面が癖になっていると新しい顔面筋肉を鍛えない限り口が自然にへの字になってしまいます。しかし、表面的なことよりも問題は心の中です。

詩篇を読むとダビデがいつも自然に嬉しかったのではないことは次の聖句から明らかです。「詩篇4:7,8」

主を喜ぶこと。賛美の歌によって主を喜ぶこと。それは私たち信徒に与えられた特権です。「主よ、私はあなたを喜びます」と宣言しましょう。

魂を振り絞って私たちの主を褒めたたえましょう。なんとなく気が滅入って喜ぶ気がしない時は、主を喜ぶことが信仰の訓練だと思います。

私たちの心は不遜で、あまりにも早くイエス様の愛や約束を忘れてしまうからです。ダビデはこのように言いました。「詩篇103篇2、9篇2」

パウロは獄中からピリピの信徒に宛てた手紙で繰り返し「いつも主にあって喜びなさい。(4:4)と勧めています。

牢獄と言う劣悪な環境で「私にとっては生きることはキリスト、死ぬこともまた益です。」（ピリピ1:21）というパウロには喜ぶ理由がありました。

私たち信徒にはそれと同じ理由があります。「詩篇97:12」「正しい者たち、主にあって喜べ」という勧めに従って一人で、家族で、大勢で、今日も喜んで主を賛美しましょう。

「すべてのこと相働きて益となるを我は知る」(ローマ8:28)神のみ許しがなければ神の子である私に何事も起こらないという確信をもって進むなら人生は心強い。

どんなことも神が与えて下さったと喜んで受け入れていく時にそれはあなたの祝福となる。固く主イエスに依り頼んでいくことを忘れてはならない。絶えず信じて続けていくなら神様からの祝福が絶えず与えられる。

ヘブル人への手紙10:22-25：「約束された方は真実な方ですから私たちは動揺しないでしっかりと希望を告白しようではありませんか。また互いに勧めあって愛と善行を促すように注意し合おうではありあせんか。ある人々のようにいっしょに集まることを止めたりしないでかえって励まし合いかの日が近づいているのを見てますますそうしようではありませんか。」

私たちクリスチャンは御再臨のあることを留意しましょう。それは永遠の私たちの生涯のための地上における準備の事です。
